Dr. Eskan is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon interested in advanced surgical periodontics and implant therapy techniques. Dr. Eskan completed his DDS with an honorary degree and was awarded the University of President Highest Achievement Award.

Following graduation, he was admitted to attending the University of Louisville where he completed his specialist training in Periodontics and Dental Implantology and also received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Eskan was one of the recipients of the Tarrson Regeneration Scholarship (given to only 2 people every three years in the US) by the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Eskan also won the Prestigious Billy M. Pennel Research Competition for his clinical research in bone regeneration.

Dr. Eskan continued his career as a faculty member at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and the University at Buffalo School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics. He is currently serving as a clinical adjunct faculty at NSU College of Dental Medicine and the University at Buffalo School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics. Passionate about dental education and science, he has published a large amount study in journals with high impact factors. Dr. Eskan’s Ph.D. thesis was selected as a featured article and became cover of the Nature Immunology on May 2012. His recent study was featured all around the world on numerous web pages including Futurity, University of Buffalo, Medical News Today, Dental Tribune, The Daily Science, Med India and Medical Daily, etc. His publications have been featured 2600 times by other researchers so far.  Dr. Eskan has given a great number of lectures internationally. He led ProArch (also called All on 4), Guidor Membrane applications in bone regeneration, and Osseodensification.

When not practicing, Dr. Eskan enjoys playing hiking, skiing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
